Chapter 15

It was more beautiful than he had anticipated. The florist had done an excellent job and was worth the price. He knew she would love it; he was thrilled and was off to meet her at her photo shoot. Traffic was relatively better than he had anticipated; she was busy changing costumes and with her make-up. Her co-artist seemed very familiar but couldn’t remember his name; it looked like they were shooting a commercial. He waited until she was finished, he didn’t expect it to take this long, usually it is about twenty to thirty minutes, but today it took more than an hour and at last she was done. He walked into her dressing room and knocked on the door and she promptly asked him to come in.

She was surprised to see him and loved the flowers and appreciated how thoughtful he was. She seemed very happy; he was happy to see her happy. He wanted to kiss her, but she was still removing her make-up; she told him that her dreams had come true and she was one step away from being the top most model; she kissed him on his cheek and asked him to wait outside for her to finish up. She was out in less than fifteen minutes, she looked beautiful in a simple skirt and a blouse, she started walking towards him, someone interrupted, and he guessed him to be the producer or agent or someone else.

They talked for a couple of minutes and she nodded to what ever he was saying, with all the background noise he could hardly hear what they were talking about, he was neither interested in knowing. She had to sign some autographs before getting to where he was and she seemed overjoyed, yet he felt he saw something that he had seen in her the first time he met her. He was not sure what it was; he wanted to take her out for dinner and catch up with her on all the sudden changes and was about to ask her where she wanted to go, the man she was talking to a couple of minutes earlier; came by kissed her on her lips, ‘see you at dinner, sweet heart!’ and left.
