Chapter 69

She was starting to get restless, there was no news about what was going on in there and she had been sitting there for hours and it was almost 5.00 in the evening. Since they had to leave early she had skipped her breakfast and the doctors had asked him not to eat anything, and with all the anxiety around her she didn’t feel like having lunch either and had had two three coffees and was starting to feel exhausted. He face was pale and tiered and she had hardly had any sleep last night after talking with Pryag. The book she was reading explained about the brain and its functions, and the types of tumors and how they can spread and how it could affect other functions in a person.

She realized that reading further was only making her nervous, so she put it back on the table and walked towards the corridor towards the coffee machine, which was free and figured that all the people both waiting and the professionals working would probably need the caffeine to get through the tension and anxiety that surrounds the place. There were a couple of people here and there and it was almost empty when she walked over and reached for a cup. Every nurse, or a doctor that passed by she was looking at them and wondered if they had any new about Pryag.

She walked over to the receptionist and enquired if there was any new about Pryag and asked them to inform her immediately and asked them if she could wait near by instead of waiting in the visitors lounge. Since the corridor was almost empty she nodded and added that she will call her as soon as she hears from the doctor. A bit relieved, since the nurse mentioned it shouldn’t take long, she walked over to get her coffee. She felt a bit queasy and a little dizzy while reaching for a cup to get some coffee. She managed herself and got the sugar and the milk and started to stir.
