Chapter 272

Her expression was quiet evident that she loved both the flowers and his gesture and that made him very happy even though he didn't show that on his face. It actually made him more than happy, wanted him to dance with her all over again and maybe this time over come his reservations and just let his evil part take over. Her eyes looked dazzling even in the darkness of the night and he was tempted to stare into it for a couple of more seconds before he looked at the road. It was even more lucrative as she seemed to be tempted to look into eyes too. He was not sure what was going through him but he was both happy and sad at the same time that she was there. He felt sad about her being stuck somewhere in the middle of the night and at the same time he was happy that he ran into her.

He turned right into the community he lived in where there was gazebo that was hardly visible in the dark. He passed the single family houses and continued to go further. He passed the town houses which were long and slender took the first turn on the right and went past what looked like a lake in the dark. He continued further and turned left at the "T" junction and she could see many huge buildings which looked like condominiums. He drove further and pulled over at one end of the building which seemed to have a couple of levels lower that the others in the middle. He opened his garage with the automatic garage opener from his car and pulled in which seemed to be too long providing enough space for storage on the wall.

He walked over and turned the lights on before she could get out and turned towards her and directed towards the door leading to the stairs for the upper level. He said, "On the other side I have a small basement as this is an end unit". She followed him and the stairs lead them to his family/living room. He had complete home theater that was set up with speakers mounted on either side of the wall. To the left was the kitchen with an island extending towards the room on the half wall making the place look larger. The two bar stools with leather covers added sophistication and extra seating in the room. He came out from one of the rooms at the back and walked towards the couch and pulled out the bed apologizing that he has some boxes that he had completely forgotten about and suggested that she take the bed in the room and he will take the couch.
