Diya smiled. Akshar continued, “I am a guy who sort of lives in the moment. But that doesn’t mean I don’t have any plans for my future. Some day I want to get married and have a couple of kids. But I don’t know when and I kind of let nature take its course. I am interested in a lot of things. I like to explore new things and try different things in life, may be it food or cloths.” Diya interrupted and said, “Even women I suppose?” Akshar looked at her in surprise and paused for a minute and said, “Yes. I suppose. I have probably dated women from all over the continent. But one thing I would like to clarify. Some of them I am still in touch with and others they might even remember me. I have never dumped anyone for any stupid reasons; definitely I have never double dated. I am kind of a one woman kind of guy. I have noticed that in general women are sensitive about this topic especially if they come across another woman from their man’s past. So let me make it clear to you. Yes. You will definitely come across many and I may or may not remember all of them. Some might have some good this to say and some may not. But the fact remains the same.” He took her hand and kissed it and said, “Now I am with you and I am only interested in you. But you need to think about some things; especially I fall under the character of high risk from your stand point. Are you willing to take this risk and see where this relationship takes us? In the mean time if you have any questions or if you want to know more about me… anything … anything at all… ask me.” He rubbed her fingers with his and kissed the again and said, “I don’t know what it is but there is something about you….” Diya tilted her head and squeezed her eyebrows with an exclamation on her face and gave a half smile and looked at him wondering what did he meant. Akshar continued and said, “You really drive me crazy sometimes… Now that you were absolutely honest with me… I like you even more….” Diya couldn’t help herself. She leaned forward and gave a kiss on his cheek and gently removed the trace of her lipstick that was left as a residue on his cheek.

Akshar said, “What was that for?” with an exclamation in his eyes. She said smiling, “For being a really nice guy.” She continued after a pause. “I really like you too. To tell you truth, I have not dated many as compared to you , maybe a handful but I probably kissed only a couple of them at the most. Even when I was with Pryag…. You know things never got out of hand, maybe once when he was sick and I am not even sure if anything really happened or I thought that it did, I am not even sure or maybe it did as I was drunk. But today…..” She paused again. Akshar said, “Hey! It is okay you….” She put her pointer over his lips and said, “Shsh…” and continued, “I don’t know how I feel about you. You drive me crazy too. Sometimes you comments hurt me and annoy me and at the same time after a couple of minutes I feel like you are the most charming guy in the whole world. I don’t know what to think of it. I have never let go of myself before. I have always been in control. With you… it is very different. I feel…” She paused trying to find words to express herself. While she was stammering Akshar leaned forward and kissed her. It was more like a quick peck on her lips. He said, “Hey! Nothing matters anymore now I know how you really feel about me and that is more than enough for me for now. You are one unique fascinating creation of god whom potentially I could fall head over heels for” He paused and smiled and continued, “You know what there is definitely a possibility that you might end up feeling the same way about me and until then…..” He shrugged his shoulders and said, “Lets see what happens.” Diya pulled him by his collar and kissed him. He grabbed her waist and kissed her back fiercely and let go of her a few seconds later. Akshar said, “I just can’t help myself. That is how I feel about you.” Diya smiled and said, “I know what you mean. We have some odd chemistry between us. But …..” Akshar ran his hands on her cheek and interrupted her by saying, “I know you still need some time to figure things out. I just have only one request. Even for what ever reason you decide to be with Pryag… “ He paused again and said, “Maybe we can be friends or at least keep in touch?” Diya nodded and clinched his fingers within her and nodded again “Definitely. If I make a decision this time, I can assure you that would be it and there is no turning back and don’t like to play the two of you at all. And if it were vice versa you do understand that Pryag will definitely be in my life”. Akshar said, “Absolutely. That is cool. He is a very nice guy from what I know.”
